Peanut Carpet

In this installation, 15 kilograms of peanuts and wasabi nuts are meticulously arranged into a captivating carpet pattern. Once vacuum-sealed, the nuts compress into intricate square formations, creating a rhythmic geometric grid across the surface. The alternating colors and textures draw the viewer’s eye, highlighting a dynamic tension between organic forms and an almost industrial precision, encouraging a fresh perspective on ordinary materials.
