Bike or Body
For me, rain covers that protect bicycles or motorbikes are like everyday sculptures. Their shapes suggest something familiar, but is it always what we expect? In this project, I mimicked the form of a rain cover with my own body, playing with the idea of what might be hidden underneath. I shared this as a game on Instagram, inviting people to guess whether there was a bicycle under the cover, or if it was me. This playful experiment challenges our assumptions and invites viewers to rethink the relationship between form and what lies beneath, turning an ordinary object into a surprising and interactive piece of art. There is also a Bike or Body edition. These are postcards with a lenticular effect. Depending on how the viewer holds the card, you can either see the rain cover or me. The editions are part of the THE CITY IS OURS #6 magazine.
